MixCoach Playbook – Vocal Processing with the SSL Channel Plugin

There’s a step by step process that I use every time I open the SSL plug-in… especially on vocals. I want to show you how I set up my SSL channel strip to make the vocals really stand up in a mix.

This also works especially great for acoustic guitars, electric guitars, keys… everything.

I do…I have the Wave SSL bundle…I use them all the time and luv em…!…I’m seriously thinking about moving to the Universal Audio Quad however…!…Most of my time is spent mixing at the moment…however…My studio will be opening soon…I just acquired a Toft ATB 24…Was looking at a refurbed Trident 80B…but decided to wait…The Toft is getting some amazing reviews and is very affordable…(wish it had automation…!)…Looking forward to putting it in action…!…(after all…if I had my druthers…I’d druther have SSL…!)
