  1. Good stuff! And I used mixwithus.com last year, very good. 🙂

As a quite lonely person when it come to mixing, I really like Mixcoach Member, there’s nothing like it and I love it!

If you want loads of original good genuine multitracks for practice, you can try this:

    http://www.shakingthrough.com/stems (great project – Donate! 🙂 )
    http://www.raw-tracks.com
    http://www.cambridge-mt.com/ms-mtk.htm (Mike Senior’s page)

    Accoustics, audio, general:

    http://www.ethanwiner.com/ (a must, don’t miss him! )
    http://www.soundonsound.com/ (loads of free articles)

  2. http://www.puremix.net is one of the best and mixing tutorials, great explanation through the whole mixing process, great free videos (20min about DeEssing) great thorough 20min – 1.5 hour long mixing videos. Best of the best.

  3. Hi Kevin,

You mentioned airusersblog.com. Russ changed the name to Pro-Tools-Expert.com. It’s still the same people. They are sponsored by Groove 3.

What Russ has done is added Eric Johnson to assist from the U.S. and Mike Thornton to cover Post topics. Since Russ is a Mac guy he also brought Neil Hester on to handle Windows questions.

The focus is Pro Tools primarily and all the stock plug-ins that come with Pro Tools. They also have sound libraries and videos on how to use Pro Tools and the plug-ins in more creative ways. Russ has done a video on each feature in Pro Tools so if someone is stuck they can just browse through the videos for something they want to know more about.

Russ did a mix video recently as well.

Maybe you can start a resource thread in the forum and I can post the links?

  4. Groove3.com offeres a 5 day five dollar trial and in november they offer a black friday special $99 for the year -priceless deal, with full mix sessions tutorials that are multipart, 5-6 hour instensives.

MixCoach Pro offers the best sessions that I have found not the web, great feedback and ideas from members.
