Slate Raven – Mixed reviews. Genius idea to have control surface that’s completely touch screen. I love Slate’s plug-ins. I’d love to spend some “hands-on” time with it to see if the “Raven will fly”.

Marshall MXL CR89– Pleasantly surprised by this little mic. Warm and inexpensive. Sometimes I find that more affordable mics have a brittle top-end. I’d love to test this one by my other go-to vocal mics.
